INTERNATIONAL POLICE APPLICANTS

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Police Applicant position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • International Civilian

  • Permanent Resident Status or in process.

    • Immigration requirements must be done through Canadian immigration, see Canada.ca

  • Physically and mentally fit.

  • Possess good moral character.

  • Possess a valid driver's license that can transfer to a Canadian G-license.

  • Education obtain outside of Canada must show proof of equivalency. (WES)

  • International applicants can obtain police coaching from their homeland via remote/virtual desk.

  • International applicants must be able to speak, write and read English.

  • Have ability to receive shipment of Textbook.

International Police Applicants additional requirements

  • Service Employment Record

  • Disciplinary Action:

    • No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted.

    • No serious police service complaints.

    • Not under investigation by current police service.

  • Police Related Education (list of courses)

  • Rank

  • Time served in service.

  • Meets medical and Psychological requirements.
